Stay on Trend
Different trends across social media will come and go, so it is important that you jump on these and act in a timely manner. A slow reaction to these trends will leave you lagging behind as people will no longer be interested in what you are posting. It is a good idea to have a general interest in social media, so you can browse what is happening on different platforms and quickly work out how you can implement this into your own social media campaign.
Adapt Per Platform
Although it can seem like the easy option to simply copy and paste content from one platform to another, this doesn’t work with everything that you put out. For example, the type of content you share on LinkedIn is likely to be very different to what you share on TikTok. You don#’t have to have a presence on every platform, but the ones you have chosen to put yourself out on need to have the appropriate content for that platform.
Listen to Results
Each platform has its own analytics page, where you can see how well different posts have performed and what they have bought to your page. It is important that you pay attention to these, so you can see what sort of posts are working and what aren’t – this gives you an idea of what can be put out in the future and the type of posts that you might want to avoid.
