The most important part before you have all the stress of getting ready is to ensure you relax and recharge first. If you are heading for a night out the likelihood is you are going to be out pretty late, so taking the time to recharge and enjoy some peaceful time beforehand makes it a lot better for you and your body. So do some of the things that make you relaxed such as listening to music, taking a relaxing walk or curling up with your favourite book.
Pamper Yourself
Self-care is so important in our daily lives but we rarely get the time or chance to do it well so ensure before a big night out you set aside that time to really pamper yourself. Enjoy a nice hot bath with your favourite candles and music, make sure you use all your favourite products and use that facemask you have had sat in the drawer for ages. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to do your hair and makeup so that this does not become stressful down the line.
Invest in a new hairdryer from MDLondon so that you can give your hair the ultimate pampering before you go – after all, what’s better than a bouncy blow-dry? If you really want a true, pampering experience you could even get someone round to this for you, alongside a fresh fake tan and nails. If you feel your best then you will definitely look your best.
Organise Your Outfit in Advance
The outfit is obviously the most important part of your night and you need to make sure it’s something you feel totally comfortable in so this doesn’t ruin your night. Dresses for women come in all different sizes and styles so make sure you pick a select few and try these on with your different heels and shoes before the big night. This allows you plenty of options if you are not feeling the dresses so that you can change your mind and still have lots of backup about what you are going to wear.
It’s always helpful to check with your friends about what they are going to wear also so that you can make sure you are sticking to a similar dress code but obviously the most important thing is you are happy and comfortable with your choice.
Have Friends Round for Pre-Drinks
This is my most favourite part of getting ready for the ultimate big night out. Get your friends around and let them be involved in the getting ready process. This always adds an extra element of fun and of course makes the night last even longer. It can also work out cheaper if you have some drinks prior to going out as you can get the night started, have a few drinks and before heading out to the club where drinks are a lot more expensive.
You can make the pre-drinks extra fun by looking up some party games to get you all in the mood and also have a go at making your own cocktails for each other to try. Try to ensure you have some food, snacks and nibbles out before you go, and that way you can save time later just for drinking.
Make Sure You Have Transport
Finally yet importantly always ensure you pre-book your method of transport so that you are not left waiting especially on a weekend when this is going to be the busiest times for taxis and Ubers. Always ensure if you are going out in a new town or area that you know a good way of getting back after a night out and that these numbers are saved on your phone.
