5 Handbag Essentials

If you’re anything like us then you’re nosey and often wonder what other people keep in their handbags! Well, wonder no more – let’s take a look at our 5 handbag essentials!

Cash

Although most of us tend to use debit cards everywhere, especially now that the limit for contact-less has been increased there are often going to be times when you need a little cash – to pay for parking, or just to grab something small from the shop for example. I tend to keep a couple of pounds in change in my bag so that I have peace of mind that I always have a little cash on me for emergencies. If I’m going on a night out then I tend to put a £20 note somewhere in my going out bag so I know whatever happens I can get a taxi home.

Powerbank

As someone that uses their mobile phone all the time, the battery never lasts as long as I need.  I always have a charging cable and a power bank, so I can be sure that however long I am out for I will always be able to charge my phone; essential for letting people know where I am or even arranging to get home.

Handbag Essentials – Water

We’re all guilty of not drinking enough throughout the day, but having a bottle of water in my handbag helps to remind me to drink more throughout the day.

Handbag Essentials – Painkillers

Nothing worse than a busy day ahead of you and coming over with a headache that makes you feel like crap. I tend to always have a packet of painkillers in my bag to make sure I always have something handy to help me get rid of it. Lately, I have also been making use of Paingone – a drug-free way to help with pain. It’s something I was dubious about but it most definitely works for me and really quickly too.! So I tend to have this in my handbag all the time as well.

Pen

It sounds like such a silly item, but how many times a day do you need a pen and not have one? I always have one in my bag; although often it stops working and leaves me without a pen at all but it’s the trying that counts!

We’d love to know your handbag essentials so feel free to share them below
