What are things that seem like luxury to you? We’re big fans of the easy life here at Lucha Libre, and that can sometimes mean getting help when needed. Currently, we work from home so it isn’t something that we have had to consider much before, but if you’re out working all day then there are some things that seem like a luxury that really aren’t luxury at all that you should be considering. Things That Seem Like Luxury, That Really Aren’t Luxury At All:
A Cleaner
Domestic help in this way is something that has generally been framed as something only the very rich has, but realistically if you’re out working 40 hours a week why shouldn’t you get a little help? Your time is precious and getting help with the cleaning around the house means you have more time available to do other important things – like see family or relax in front of the TV. At the end of the day, hiring a cleaning might actually cost less than you think – especially when you weigh it up with what you’ll gain by not having to spend that time taking care of household chores yourself.

Help With Laundry
Washing, drying, folding and ironing washing can seem like a seemingly endless process – and one that you might end up repeating if you don’t keep on top of things. I am sure we have all had to re-wash a load of washing because it’s been stuck in the machine for too long!
LaundryHeap is a service that pics up your washing and returns it all clean and ready to go, often in as little as 24 hours! No longer do you have to worry about whether you’ve lefty washing on the line and it’s going to rain or whether you have hung out the clothes to dry in the spare room because there is a service that takes care of all of that for you – and that seems like a genius idea to me!
Meal Prep Services
We’ve tried Hello Fresh and Gousto now and have been really impressed with both. I know that the weekly cost can seem like a lot compared to a whole weekly shop, but I feel like if you’re someone that lives a busy life then not having to worry about whether you have bought all the ingredients or what healthy food you could cook that night then it could be worth it.

Everything comes measured out, with clear instructions and they generally take around 20 minutes to make – so it’s such a great way to get decent food into your family and really helps with that endless question of “what shall we have for dinner?” There are a range of services you can get and you may even find a local meals on wheels type service or a meal prep service that can deliver your dishes to you pretty much ready to go, with just a few minutes needed in the microwave before you get to enjoy an easy to prepare cooked meal.

What things feel like luxury to you? What things would you like to invest in to make life at home better if you could?
