The food you’re having will depend on the venue, but if you’re having the event at home then sorting out a finger buffet is probably the easiest way to make sure everyone is fed – grazing boards are super popular at the moment! You can then set this up in advance and get on with having a good time – people can then just pick at the food and sort out what they want themselves, which ensures that everyone gets fed without too much stress!

Have a Theme
Much like any important event you are arranging a theme can be a lovely idea – if people know the gender of the baby then you could opt for a blue/pink theme – or even if they ydon’t you could ask for outfits that incorporate both colours. You could go for something glamourous or even ask people to come dressed as the year they were born. There are lots of different things you can use, and you can start right from the beginning with baby shower invites that match your theme & even the baby shower quizzes could use the same colour scheme to help bring everything together.
The whole idea is to make sure everyone has fun – get them involved by asking them to bring their own baby photos or similar.
